Discovery!

Persistence pays off.  While searching for the lost film named "Stelle del Canto" I found scripts for this film and the film "Movie Actor" in the New York State Archives.  These files include the original english translations and licenses required at that time for New York State .  The New York State Education Department's Motion Picture Division (1921–1965) was a censorship body responsible for reviewing, licensing, and cutting "objectionable" scenes from films exhibited in the state.   Downloads below:
