Chinese language advertisement
1917

English translation: "Lombardi Theatre invites you to a brilliant performance. Famous Italian singer Farfariello will perform at our theater starting September 16th, every Sunday from 9pm-11pm at night. There will be two performances on other nights (7pm to 9pm and 9pm to 11pm). Mr. Farfariello has performed at the New York Metropolitan Opera House to raving audiences. His acting and singing are without peer. The performance in which he appears as a drunkard consists of five scenes. He will perform with four actresses and more than ten actors. Many of Mr. Farfariello's performances have been recorded by a sound recording company. All of his records are very popular. That is why the public is eager to see him perform in person. Admission tickets (15 cents) (25 cents) (35 cents) (50 cents). We welcome your patronage.
